Elle le lui dit et en profite pour lui déclarer qu’elle est amoureuse d’un garçon, Arnaud, avec lequel elle voudrait partir vivre. Julien, qui n’a pas vu sa fille grandir, réagit très mal mais finit par accepter d’organiser un dîner avec Carine et Arnaud. L’ambiance du dîner est fraîche... Carine, rejetée par Julien, quitte l’appartement et met un terme à leur liaison. Carine, rejected by Julien, leaves the apartment and puts an end to their affair. Julien, que no ha visto crecer a su hija, reacciona muy mal pero acaba accediendo a organizar una cena con Carine y Arnaud. El ambiente de la cena es fresco... Carine, rechazada por Julien, abandona el apartamento y pone fin a su relación. Al día siguiente, Julien anima a Julie a seguir a Arnaud, consciente de que él es demasiado posesivo con ella.
