2023 Mexico City Vlog | It’s NOTHING Like I Expected

Mexico City Vlog: Mexico City travel is NOTHING like I expected. I was to experience the DF during a layover in Mexico City. It isn’t a twin sister of Chicago, but it’s definitely in the family. After a few minutes in the capital, you’ll quickly see the resemblance: * Beautiful, vibrant people * Irresistible Street markets * A gangster reputation, just dangerous enough to scare away some * Another similarity is the food, one of the most amazing culinary scenes in the world.  This last point is really why I’m here. We’ve been in Mexico for a week, but in the Yucatán- that peninsula has its own unique cuisine and culture. Frankly, I haven’t had a great taco since I got here. Mexico City is going to fix that for me. I hope.
