Britons forced to choose between ’heating and eating’ as energy crisis worsens

GB News presenter and Anglican Deacon Calvin Robinson says people in the United Kingdom are being forced to choose between “heating and eating”. “That is a dire strait that no one should find themselves in,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “People are turning off their boilers, turning off their hot water in order to get by – I think it’s incredibly wrong.” Mr Robinson said the government is ordering citizens to “reduce demand” and essentially telling them to “use less energy” in the lead-up to winter. “Surely the answer there is to increase the supply rather than reduce demand,” he said. “It’s the short-termism in UK politics that’s really left us in the position we are today.”
