How to Tie a Formal Fukuro Obi // Tying a Nijudaiko on Back and Front
This video shows you how to tie a formal obi - a fukuro obi (袋帯) - for your formal kimono. This obi musubi is called “nijudaiko (二重太鼓)“. Its construction can be very confusing, so I have explained its construction clearly while showing how to tie a nijudaiko on the front and on the back.
