Uncovering the Truth: How we lost Crimea.

This video explores the history and politics of Crimea, focusing on the illegal annexation of the peninsula by Russia in 2014. The video discusses the ethnic composition of the population, the strategic significance of the peninsula, and the loyalty of a significant portion of the local population to the Russian Federation. The video also explains how Russian soldiers invaded the peninsula without identifying insignia, and became known as “little green men.“ The international reaction to the annexation was underwhelming, and the issue of Crimea was sidelined after the start of the undeclared war in Donbas. Today, Crimea remains a temporarily occupied territory waiting to be liberated from Russia. The video concludes by expressing hope for the eventual de-occupation of Crimea.
