Sky News host Paul Murray says the hysteria around COVID-19 is seeing police have to “pretend that every single citizen is a potential bio-terrorist”. “That’s over the top,” he said. “I’m all in on the police, support the police. It’s a waste of their time to be making sure that idiots who should be following the rules follow the rules. “Sometimes they just get a bit bored, which means an over-policing of things.”
