Commenting on the inspiration behind the new video, director Blake Claridge said “So this is the first time I think this has been done in this way. Yes you could do it with big bucks; a studio build and a motion control rig, but that would have been a totally different shoot. Firstly you wouldn’t get that rig up 3 flights of stairs in a house. To do this on a budget you have to think outside the box, no off the shelf product does this type of shot, so inspired by the rigs of the legend that is Tony Hill, I knew something was possible but just had to figure it out what. I’d always wanted to do something with a perpetual motion and in the end it was a butchered slider, many clamps, sand bags, a piece of rope, a lot of heavy lifting, a crash mat and throwing in a Roll Rig and I like to call it the “Drop-Cam” but for insurance purposes I don’t think it would catch on.” Upcoming EU Tour Dates Festival Appearances: May 20th - Bremen - Schlachthof (DE) May 21st - Braunschweig - Westand (DE) May 23rd - Hamburg - Markthalle (DE) May 24th - Cologne - Kantine (DE) May 25th - Frankfurt - Batschkapp (DE) May 26th - Karlsruhe - Substage (DE) May 28th - Kronach - DIE FESTUNG ROCKT (DE) May 29th - Munch - Technikumthe (DE) June 1st - Leipzig - UT Connewitz (DE) June 2nd - Dresden - Beatpol (DE) June 3rd - Berlin - Columbiatheatre (DE) June 4th - Amsterdam - Bitterzort (NL) July 2nd - Bournemouth - HIGH TIDE FESTIVAL (UK) July 21st - Hertfordshire - STANDON CALLING FESTIVAL (UK) July 22nd - Oxford - TRUCK FESTIVAL (UK) July 23rd - Skipton - GATEWAYS FESTIVAL (UK) August 18th - GAMPEL OPEN AIR FESTIVAL (CZ) August 20th - CZECH REPUBLIC BRNO TRUTNOFF OPEN AIR FESTIVAL (CZ) August 27th - SOUTHSEA VICTORIOUS FESTIVAL (UK) Sep/Oct 2022 UK Headline Tour Dates: September 21st - Sunderland - Independent (UK) September 22nd - Glasgow - King Tuts (UK) September 23rd - Stoke - The Sugarmill (UK) September 24th - Manchester - O2 Ritz (UK) September 29th - London - Electric Ballroom (UK) September 30th - Brighton - Chalk (UK) October 1st - Cambridge - Mash (UK) October 2nd - Cardiff - Clwb Ifor Bach (UK) Tickets on sale now: Bio: Formed in 2002, by now The Subways should need no introduction.
