Drive My Car - Eiko Ishibashi - Drive My Car OST (2021)

This is the first track on Eiko Ishibashi’s airy and poetic soundtrack to Drive My Car (ドライブ・マイ・カ), Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s 2021 movie. It is a cinematographic adaptation of Haruki Murakami’s same titled short story, which can be found in Men Without Women. The film competed at Cannes Film Festival where it won Best Screenplay, the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury and the FIPRESCI prize.
