Bouncy Funk Rock Bass Jam with Trills

Here’s a fun jam on my fretted Cortex bass with funky trills, slides, heavy plucking, harmonics and other cool sounds a bass can make when digging in hard! These videos are recorded realtime in one take, besides compression during mastering there is no post processing on the audio. I used a Walrus Audio stereo delay, a Rodenberg 707b clean booster, a Darkglass Hyper Luminal compressor and recorded with the DI-out from my Eich T-1000 amp straight into a Focusrite Scarlett interface. I made the drums with Addictive Drums, recording and mastering was done in Cubase. Video camera is a JVC Everio, no edits made. I’m playing a swiss Cortex bass, Napoleon Deluxe model, strung up with Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings. This bass has a flamed maple fingerboard, chocolate maple neck, mahogany body and a walnut top. It has Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups with a Glockenklang 3-band EQ, blend and passive/active switch on the volume knob. More in the works, thanks for watching! My music on iTunes
