American woodturner Carl Jacobson inspired me last week to have a go at ’inside-out’ here is the result - A Snowman Christmas ornament. Needless to say, it took many hours to make, being the first one I have ever made, and as such went through various design modifications as the work progressed. Thankfully it didn’t explode on the lathe, even though there is a hole in the top and the sides look more like a flower’s petals wrapping the snowman. It was pretty scary at times turning this pie
