“Battle of Jalainur“ — English subs and translation

Russian Empire, circa 1901 Donate & Support: The Battle of Jalainur (now Zhalainuo’er, Inner Mongolia), also known as the Battle at Ongun station, took place during the Chinese campaign of 1900-1901, in which the Russian forces, along with other Great Powers, suppressed the Yihetuan (Boxer) rebellion and defended the colonial interests of Russia in the Qing Empire. Transbaikal Cossacks from the Hailar Detachment of General Nikolaj Orlov took part in the battle. Chinese troops (including the Mongolian cavalry mentioned in the lyrics) outnumbered the Russian detachment by four times, but were completely defeated.
