Tam and Lucy recently played a few hours of Remedy’s upcoming psychological horror, Alan Wake 2. They played as both FBI Agent Saga Anderson in the quaint town of Watery, and as Alan, trapped in the Dark Place.
It’s been 13 long years since the original Alan Wake, and the sequel to the cult classic has taken our favorite beleaguered writer, and dropped him right into the middle of a psychological horror that he needs to write his way out of. Meanwhile, FBI Agent Saga Anderson makes for Bright Falls to investigate the mystery of a series of ritualistic murders, and unwittingly gets embroiled in the supernatural horror that Alan is at the centre of.
At a recent preview event, Tamoor and Lucy played 3 hours of Alan Wake II, playing as both Saga and Alan. In Saga’s mission, Local Girl, they got to grips with the Case Board and Profiling mechanics in the Mind Place. Alan’s mission, Room 665 took them to the Oceanview Hotel, where they got to try out using the Angel Lamp to Light Shift, as well as Alan’s Writer’s Room and Rewrite Reality.
