SONIC MOVIE storyboard: Portal Chase

My storyboards for the Portal Chase sequence in ’SONIC THE HEDGEHOG’. Made for Blur Studios/Paramount Pictures during pre-production (hence the ’old’ Sonic design). It was a tool for the director to explore options and figure out a sequence with wild action. You can see where the final film diverges from these boards, they are a guide for the layout dept not a strict template. There were other gags we came up with that aren’t included here.
