It is considered one of the best coffee machines in the world when operated correctly. My girlfriend’s birthday is coming up i decided to give her a coffee machine like this one because she loves la pavoni espresso and la pavoni machines. Since I don’t like plastic, I’m replacing all the plastic handles on the vintage La Pavoni portafilter (in german known as Siebträgermaschine) with custom wooden handles made from birdseye maple.I therefore refer to it as “restomod“ and not “restoration“.
