GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Bruins () | DeSmith and Guentzel Blank the Bruins

After a four day break in games, the Pittsburgh Penguins returned to home ice to take on the Boston Bruins in their second straight matchup against the team. Jake Guentzel got the Penguins on the board early giving Pittsburgh the 1-0 advantage in the first. The Penguins would add to their lead in the second thanks to a goal from Jason Zucker as well as Jake Guentzel’s second of the contest. Casey DeSmith would continue his strong play through the third and Jake Guentzel netted home an empty-net goal to secure his 2nd hat trick and 40th goal of the season.
