“BAISER - EN FLEUR“ This is BAISER’s promotional music video of their song, “EN FLEUR“. This specific PV was released with the “EN FLEUR SPECIAL VIDEO BOX“ set, which contained several minutes of various footage and title cards as well as the one music video. The box set also included both the CD and VHS versions of the single, plus a large logo sticker, photocard set, handkerchief, pouch, and mirror. The box opens up like a book to reveal the contents inside. All contents on this release are pretty much identical to thos which where released with the single and VHS release that was released a few days prior. This is also the first time several new members have had joined BAISER and this is the first music video that contains all new members except Yukari. “Guitarist Mizuki (水月) and drummer Katsura (桂) are recruited. The band is ready to comeback, but guitarist Akane (茜) suddenly secedes due to family reasons related to his father’s illness (he would later take over his father’s company and retire from the music scene). Rei (零) was later found to be his replacement, by invitation of Mizuki (水月). Bassist Shaisuke (泰祐) also joins at this time.“ - About BAISER: Baiser (Also stylized as BAISER), with the name meaning “Kiss“ in French, was a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in 1991 by vocalist Yukari. They played concerts in the Tokyo area before debuting on an independent label in 1994. In 1998 Baiser released two singles, three mini-albums, a full album, and three videos. In May 1999 Baiser signed with the major label Fortune Records Japan (a division of Sony Music Entertainment and released their debut single “Prism“. “Prism“ was used as the opening theme for the anime Gokudo and was produced by Hakuei of Penicillin. They released two more maxi-singles, “Angel“ and “Doku“, and their first and final major album, Hana. That same year they also had their first major tour, Prismatic Colors. In May 2000 they released their last maxi-single, “Pegasus“. Following a period of no releases, Baiser announced that they were going to disband on January 5, 2001.
