Slovenia today. Storms and floods across the country

Storms covered all of Slovenia, causing flash floods. Yesterday and at night Slovenia was crossed by a storm belt that spread eastward from Slovenian Istria. The storms caused problems in Carinthia, northern Primorsk, Gorenje and central Slovenia, but fortunately things were not as bad this time as they were at the beginning of the month. The Protection and Rescue Administration of the Republic of Slovenia monitored events in 193 locations, most of which were in the area of the regional information centers of Ljubljana (90), Kranj (40), and Koper (27). Interventions were also carried out in the region of the regional centers Slovenj Hradec (18), Celje (13), Nova Gorica (3) and Postojna (2).
