US Air National Guard prepares for upcoming NFL Super Bowl LVIII

US Air National Guard pilots conducted air defense exercises ahead of the Super Bowl recently, simulating “an airspace breach over Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas,” according to footage released by the Department of Defense. Video released by DVIDS shows an exercise, coordinated by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), on February 2. NORAD works with federal, state, and local agencies to bolster “special security events like this year’s Super Bowl,” DVIDS said.
