Horrible! Ukrainian close combat kills 620 of Russian soldiers in a bloody battle near Bakhmut

The fight for Bakhmut has cost the Wagner Group and Russian forces, with as many as 30,000 people estimated to have died in or around the town in Donetsk Oblast over the past 10 months. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on April 19 that Russia had lost 183,750 troops in Ukraine since the start of its full-scale invasion on February 24 last year. This number includes the 620 casualties suffered by Russian forces over the past few days. Russia launched 60 airstrikes in the last 24 hours, mainly in and around the besieged eastern city of Bakhmut, according to the Ukrainian military.
