This solo features some very smooth legato lines, a bit of alternate picking and a sweeping lick at the end to wrap things up in a cool way. He’s using a lot of Melodic Minor, as well as bit of Harmonic Minor and some Wholetone stuff to get more tension. It gives the solo a very modern feel; you won’t find any pentatonic licks here.
