James Cleverly joins the Tory leadership race

James Cleverly has set out his ambitions to become the prime minister as he seeks to replace Theresa May as leader of the Conservative party. The pro-Leave politician has become the 11th Tory MP to join the leadership race. In a letter to his constituents in Braintree, the politician said Brexit must be delivered, adding that “it would be best for the UK to leave the EU with some form of deal“.
