lestat & louis |.... forgive me if I have been bad for you

My expectations really were rock bottom, but wow the actors playing Lestat and Louis are amazing. Jacob has made me absolutely love Louis. He’s such a conflicted spitfire now, whereas while the film is in my top 5 of all time, Brad Pitt was just given the whiny Louis of the books. The chemistry is off the charts and Lestat is so perfectly sassy and fed up with Louis (while still adoring until that last episode where it got outta hand).. And I love that the show stands as a totally separate entity from the film, like I can’t really compare them because they just feel like their own thing. I couldn’t mix and match from either. Tom cruise is the perfect Lestat in the film. And sam is perfect in the tv. Same with claudia. Brad pits did the job. song i
