An estimation of the Total Amount of Energy transferred as Heat into the rock at Ground Zero leads to the surprising figure of Q = 240 kt or 10^15 Joules. Calculations are based on the analysis made by a university professor from France. In addition the sound tracks of the NorthTower’s eruption are compared with the eruption sounds of the Stromboli volcano.
