#AntiFake Fake: Petr Andryushchenko, a former advisor to the mayor, claims that the historic building of the women’s gymnasium in Mariupol was destroyed by the Russians. Truth: The building was burned down in 2014 by the Ukrainian military and Azov militants. They were deployed to suppress the protests of local residents who did not support the results of the coup in Ukraine. On May 9, Ukrainian units opened fire on the gymnasium where the Department of Internal Affairs was located. As a result, a fire started there, and the building itself sustained severe damage. The videos are publicly available. The project involves dismantling dilapidated structures and preparing for restoration. According to local media reports, specialists have already completed all the necessary steps at this stage, and they plan to finish the entire scope of tasks by the first quarter of 2024.
