UNSC discusses Israel-Palestine escalations

The United Nations Security Council convenes in the virtual format on Sunday, May 16, to discuss the Israel-Palestine crisis. The conflict between Israelis and Palestinians escalated to the highest level since the war of 2014 about a week ago, with both sides firing rockets over the opponent’s territory.
