A very special being 🌳

Quando vi essa Samaúma pela primeira vez meu coração parou, tamanha sua força e grandeza. Rainha da Amazônia, ela é considerada um portal entre o mundo invisível e o mundo manifestado. Por esse portal os seres de lá podem nos visitar 🕊️ Quando a vi, não pude deixar de me lembrar da árvore de Pocahontas. Essa árvore que me fez chorar só poder ser abraçada por inteiro por mais de vinte pessoas. A Samaúma é uma das maiores de nossa Amazônia, podendo chegar a setenta metros de altura e cento e vinte anos de idade. É sagrada para muitos povos, colecionando mitos, histórias e saberes ancestrais. Suas raízes, as Sapopemas, podem atingir dez metros fora do chão e absorvem água das profundezas do solo amazônico, hidratando não apenas ela, mas todo o seu entorno. Quando as Sapopemas atingem um determinado nível de umidade elas soltam essa água que colecionaram, irrigando a floresta ao seu redor. Suas raízes também serviam de muros para casas de povos originários. Queen of the Amazon, she’s considered a portal between the invisible world and the manifested world. Through this portal, the beings there can visit us 🕊️ When I saw it, I couldn’t help but remember Pocahontas’ tree. This tree that made me cry could only be embraced in it’s entirety by twenty humans. Samaúma is one of the biggest trees in our Amazon, reaching seventy meters in height and one hundred and twenty years old. It is sacred to many peoples, collecting myths, stories and ancestral knowledge. It’s roots, the Sapopemas, can reach ten meters above the ground and absorb water from the depths of the Amazonian soil, hydrating not only her, but the entire surroundings. When Sapopemas reach a certain level of humidity, they release the water they have collected, irrigating the forest around them.
