Book Review of Cannery Row by John Steinbeck

Hello everyone and welcome to my new book review. Really, why do I bother reviewing Steinbeck? His writing and themes are all genius. I had no idea what this book was about and it was such a nice read (albeit a bit confronting in parts). I loved the town and it’s people. They were my people - even though things tended to get out of hand at times but their heart was in the right place. A great read. What are your thoughts about this book?
