City Cycling - Toronto - Yonge Street Southbound from Midtown

This is a video that I filmed on Sunday, March 29, 2015. I rode my bike down Yonge St all the way to Lake Ontario. I started just north of Eglinton and the total distance was around 8km. Yonge street is one of Toronto’s main streets which runs north-south through the middle of the city. There is an underground subway which runs below Yonge. This street is far from being an ideal place for cyclists to ride, but it would be amazing to get protected bike lanes on it one day! I used my Contour Roam 2 camera to shoot the action footage and recorded the audio with my Panasonic voice recorder and earpiece microphone.
