Karl Richter’s post-romantic take on Baroque opera - that is, without the use of countertenors and travesto sopranos, replacing with basses and tenors. Giulio Cesare has beautiful arias and superb orchestration. The Münchener Bach-Orchester’s continuo playing is masterful, but I won’t be uploading the recitatives.
