Fear of racist label stopping Brits from ’behaving sensibly’ in dangerous situations

The fear of being labelled racist is preventing Britons from “behaving sensibly in potentially threatening situations,“ says Spiked Online Editor Brendan O’Neill. The first volume of a public inquiry report into the 2017 Manchester Arena bombings found security arrangements failed to prevent or minimise “the devastating impact of the attack” which left 22 Ariana Grande concert-goers dead. Mr O’Neill said identity politics was proving to be an obstacle in addressing social problems.
