Log in to your WordPress Dashboard
Go to your WordPress website’s admin area by entering “/wp-admin“ after your website URL (e.g., ). Enter your login credentials to access the dashboard.
Step 2: Access the Reading Settings
Once you’re logged in, locate the “Settings“ menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard. Hover over it, and a submenu will appear. Click on “Reading“ from the submenu to access the Reading Settings page.
Step 3: Choose Your Front Page Display
On the Reading Settings page, you’ll see the options to configure your front page display. There are two main choices:
Your latest posts: This option will display your most recent blog posts on the front page.
A static page: This option allows you to select a specific page to serve as your front page. You can also choose a separate page to display your blog posts (commonly known as the “Posts Page“).
Step 4: Select Your Preferred Option
Choose the option that best suits your needs. If you want to display your latest posts, select the “Your latest posts“ option. If you prefer a static page, select the “A static page“ option.
Step 5: Set the Front Page and Posts Page
If you selected the “A static page“ option, additional settings will appear. Use the drop-down menus to choose the specific page you want to use as your front page and the page where your blog posts should be displayed.
Step 6: Save Changes
Once you’ve made your desired selections, scroll down to the bottom of the Reading Settings page and click on the “Save Changes“ button to save your new settings.
