Finally, after like 5 years i have made a video of me catching a snapping turtle out of shawnee creek right in the middle of town, and the biggest one i have ever caught at that (it must have been 30lbs)! I’ve been telling people for several years that if you know what you’re doing you can catch them in there and most people are skeptical at best. I’ve had strangers walking by and literally laugh at me and tell me there were no snapping turtles in there, after i told them what i was fishing for them.
