Blue Towels - Measuring and Wind on Warp

A new weaving project starts with measuring all of the Warp threads that will be used, in this case 560 threads. After measuring the threads they are placed into the raddle and over the lease sticks. Next step is to wind the warp onto the back beam of the loom. Music used in this video is from the “free to use“ music provided by YouTube. 0:00 Intro 0:21 Measure the first 4 threads 1:27 High speed measuring 2:17 Measure the next 20 threads 5:00 Tie off the cross 7:14 Make a warp chain 8:43 Put warp over lease sticks 10:48 Put more warp over lease sticks 12:12 Start to wind on to the back beam 14:39 Move the S hooks 16:02 Remove S hooks, trim the warp ends 17:44 Pull warp to back of loom 18:14 Closing monologue 19:42 That’s all folks
