Seether is a South African rock band founded in 1999. One of their biggest hits was “Broken“ which features Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee. On this acoustic live version, Amy is not present so the band does the full song by themselves. The song Broken which came out on April 19th, 2004. Is about the breakup of his marriage (Shaun Morgan, the lead singer), after his wife chose to remain in South Africa with their daughter rather than accompany him to live in the United States. Broken did not do as well as expected hitting #20 on the US Billboard Hot 100. However it did receive Platinum (1,000,000) in the United States. The song did better going #9 on the US Mainstream Rock charts. Still making it their biggest hit, the Music video as of now on YouTube has 328 million plus views.
