Alex Rudinger - Light The Torch - “Wilting In The Light“

I’m very excited to (finally!) announce that I played drums on the new Light The Torch album, ’You Will Be The Death Of Me’, available worldwide on June 25th via Nuclear Blast Records.  For those that don’t know, Light The Torch (formerly ’Devil You Know’) is comprised of a super rad buncha SICK dudes (& musicians!) - Francesco Artusato, Ryan Wombacher, & Howard Jones. I was asked to do the drums for their new album in late 2019, & flew out to California to track with Josh Gilbert & Joseph McQueen in February of 2020. Very shortly thereafter, Covid-19 hit the states, & as a result the album release was pushed back.   In other words: I’ve been sitting on this news for quite awhile, & am super stoked that I can finally share it with you! Getting to do this album meant a whole lot to me - Howard Jones’ work with Killswitch Engage was incredibly influential to me when I was growing up, & I’ve always been a huge fan of his. So
