In search of Desert Equations, Sussan Deyhim and Richard Horowitz

My first album and collaboration with @richardmhorowitz, Azax Attra/Desert Equations was released in 1987 on the great European Label @crammeddiscs. It was composed between 1982-1985 and it has always been one of our most forward looking albums considering when it was done. Japanese director Mitsuru Hiyashi who was a fan, shot a mad music video for our song I’m a Man, in this industrial spot in NJ. He recently sent it to us and I showcased a short segment of it at my prestigious Courtauld Institute presentation last Nov. Glad to have paid my dues to the industrial Punk Rock and Noise era of NYs early 80’s. Then wisdom took hoping madness will take over again, I’m in the mood.
