Pope Receives Italian Film Industry (1955)

Various shots of a papal audience gathered to meet Pope Pius XII (Eugenio Pacelli), who wants to meet members of the Italian film industry to encourage them in the abolition of corrupt films. Also present are American Bishop O’Connor, Under-Secretary to the President of Council on Scalfaro, Director General of the Spectacle De Pirro, Sports and Tourism Minister Ponti and President of Catholic Action Professor Gedda. Amongst the actors are Fosco Fiachetti, Umberto Spadaro, Isa Miranda, Delia Scala, producers Remigio Paone.
