Some thoughts on Acropora Staghorn Corals

Acropora... the crown jewel of the SPS world. One thing to note right away is that this is one of the more challenging types of coral. They tend to demand very clean water, very strong lighting, and very strong water flow. We struggled for a long time keeping Acropora because the greenhouse system is has inherent instability with regard to light levels and temperature as seasons change.
