Liebherr - Make mine a double

August 2023: Three new Liebherr double boom ship to shore container cranes manufactured in Ireland completed their journey from their assembly site in Haydarpasa, to the port of Mardas, Istanbul in Türkiye. The cranes unique design has been tailored to work on the ports narrow finger pier, offering flexibility and productivity. The cranes can work on the largest vessels and boast a double outreach of 63m and a span of 23m meters. #shiptoshore #containerhandling #portofmardas Their journey began at our production plant in Killarney, Ireland. Following design and manufacture, the crane components were transported by road to the Port of Fenit, and onwards by sea to the Port of Haydarpasa where they were fully assembled, before being barged the short distance to the Port of Mardas.
