At just 20 years old, competition climbing phenom Mejdi Schalck has shown incredible promise on the IFSC World Cup circuit. Displaying an impressive talent for coordination moves and parkour-style bouldering, he’s one of the new generation of elite climbers coming up through the ranks of the French climbing team.
Mejdi has been one to watch since he burst on to the competition climbing scene, taking bronze in the 2022 World Games. The Bern World Championships saw Mejdi narrowly miss out on an Olympic ticket, beginning his year long battle for qualification to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic games. adidas TERREX spent 48 hours with Mejdi in his hometown of Paris as he trains for Olympic qualification.
