Albrecht Mayer - Bonjour Paris (English version)

Albrecht Mayer’s latest Decca release explores French repertoire, featuring original works for oboe (Francaix, D’Indy) and familiar French melodies by Debussy, Faure, Ravel, Satie Hahn, Faure and Debussy. The smooth, accomplished oboe playing of Albrecht Mayer (principal oboe with the Berlin Philharmonic), is backed by the acclaimed chamber orchestra of The Academy of St Martin in the Fields conducted by Albrecht himself. Bonjour Paris is released internationally in February 2011.
