The 3 accomplices, in life and on stage, enjoy sharing with their audience their happiness to play together and to challenge the rules of the genre with mischief, melodic lyricism and catchy grooves. The trio assumes its “pop“ side, light but always exigent. Melodies full of words without ever being talkative, complex beats but always easy to degust, these modern jazzmen keep only one goal in mind, having fun by using their dexterity and skills to serve the music’ s essential essence, Emotion. Thus, they are often associated to The Bad Plus or Esbjorn Svensson for their artistic freedom and creativity or to The Roots for the groove side of their compositions. RP3 has established a solid reputation on the world’s greatest jazz stages.
