Making a Bound Edge Seam 1911 Holster with Milled Leather Liner ASMR Leathercraft

In this leather working video I make a 1911 leather cross draw holster with geometric stamp tooling and edge binding. Some may call this a turned edge or a French binding. But since it’s a separate piece of leather from the lining it doesn’t really qualify as a French binding. I’ve also switched to using a milled leather for my linings so I can glue and work on them ’flat’ instead of having to roll them as in previous videos. I highly recommend this! Stamps I used on this holster (purchased at ProLeatherCarvers): SOZO LX2 Geometrics Diamond Lined Pattern Stamp Barry King - #2 Barker / Veiner Stamp
