Tots Ballet (1956)

Chatham, Kent. Lovely sequence of 3 - 4 year olds in white tutus. A group of little darlings dancing in the grounds of Rochester Castle in the summer sunshine. They are from the Muriel Thomas School of Ballet with Julie Thomas preparing her group for an event . C/U shots of little girl putting on a daisy hat . She is one of a group dressed in white tutu costumes, with red ballet shoes. C/U, Christine Emery puts on her shoe, Elizabeth Clay also 3, watches, Julie Thomas tries to organise the line and they trot off, one is a little slow, is almost left behind and is pulled into place. Girls trot around in a ring. They stand in a row and do points and little jumps. M/S as the older girl, 5 - 10 year olds , dressed in pink and blue dance in formation - delightful.
