Trump says Ukraine can win back all lost territory, calls Russia ’a paper tiger’

President Trump says Ukraine can win its war against Russia. Trump said that he believes Ukraine, with the backing of the European Union, could secure back all of its territory from Russia. “After getting to know and fully understand the Ukraine/Russia Military and Economic situation and, after seeing the Economic trouble it is causing Russia, I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Tuesday. “With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this War started, is very much an option.” “Why not? Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years a War that should have taken a Real Military Power less than a week to win,” Trump said. “This is not distinguishing Russia. In fact, it is very much making them look like ‘a paper tiger.’” President Trump also said countries in NATO should be allowed to shoot down Russian aircraft if they enter their territory. “Yes I do,” Trump said while meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in New York City following the president’s address to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday morning.
