DIY Drill Guide / Router Plunge Base

There was a need to drill a few holes in the board that did not want to fit under my drill. The holes had to be drilled as straight as possible, so manual drilling was quite difficult. The plunge router works too hard, so I decided to do something myself that would make the task easier for me. That’s how the #Drill #Guide / #Router #Plunge #Base was made The base was made of 16 mm plywood, 10 mm acryl, 12 mm steel linear shaft and cheap flange plain bearings. The springs are made of 1 mm spring steel wire but are a little too soft, I think to make a new from 1.2 - 1.5 mm wire. At the bottom of the base, I made a chamfer (behind the camera), the result is easier to slip. Feel free to comment and ask questions.
