Painting Clouds Wet on Wet Watercolor Technique

P A T R E O N ! ! ! Hi everyone! In this demonstration I am painting skies and clouds, and a very simple coastal line just to put the skies in a context. Painting clouds seems like an easy thing to do but not necessarily in practice. Many beginner artists try to avoid painting skies all together. This is mostly due to the difficulties of wet-on-wet technique. In this demonstration I’m showing my approach to tackle this subject. Personally, it is one of my favorites due to the freedom it offers and with time and practice hopefully it will be yours as well. In this demonstration I am using: Paper: 300GSM 100% Cotton Saunders Waterford Brushes: • 20mm flat synthetic, • ¾ inch Black Velvet Oval • 10mm Dainayw Squirrel Mop • #12 Perla • #1 Black Velvet Script Paints: Winsor Newton, Daniel Smith and Holbein Please enjoy! Stay tuned for upcoming videos, like and subscribe! Happy wate
