How to make hot glue seals (aka faux wax seals)

Supplies you’ll need: Parchment paper or silicon mat Low-temp glue gun Crystal clear hot glue (any brand) Wax seal stamp (with deep impression) Icepack Floral paper of your choice 1” circle punch Krylon Gold Leafing Pen 👉🏼While your glue gun is heating up, place your wax seal stamp on an icepack. If the metal is cold, it won’t stick to the glue. 👉🏼Punch out your paper with the circle punch. Use the same size of circle punch as the stamp size. For example: I’m using a 1” wax stamp, so I also use a 1” circle punch. 👉🏼Squeeze warmed up glue onto a paper circle. Then place cold wax stamp into the glue. Let cool for 20-60 seconds. When it comes easily off the parchment paper, you’ll know it is cool. Remove seal from stamp. 👉🏼Color seal lip/edge with Krylon Gold Leafing Marker. Once dry (at least 20 minutes), color on the raised design portion. The deeper the stamp impression the easier it will be to color. Let the gold sit overnight before using to fully dry/cure. That’s it! Let me know if you have any questions or if you try this technique!
