Dave And Dusty Magic Shop (1946)

Title reads: “Dave and Dusty“. Location of events unknown. M/S of small boy (Dave) with dog on string (Dusty) walking down street. The boy pauses in doorway reading sign: “Magic for sale“. Dave lifts his dog and enters shop. Various shots of owner of shop, Will Goldston, testing out one of the tricks - a disappearing cage, Dave watches. Various shots of Dave looking at some ventriloquist’s dummies; he looks under their clothes and inside their mouths. The dummies start talking to him (actually the narrator’s voice but still quite spooky). The dummies say they want a cigarette, they tell Dave get some from a box in the counter.
