Space Engine: Beautiful Eyeball World

What it would be like to visit an tidally locked Earth-like exoplanet? I hope this video will answer to this question. Here is an procedural planet in the Milky Way that has some parameters that they are similar to Earth. It was created by universe simulator Space Engine. This is not the latest version of Space Engine and I want to share these beautiful places. Keep in mind that I have done some editing for this planet, so if you go there in Space Engine it will not look like they do here. Here is a description of a wonderful planet that you will see in this video. For Space Engine enthusiasts i have included the coordinates. This is a tidally locked planet orbiting one of the stars (orange dwarf) in a double star system. This exoplanet definitely has a lot of similarities to Earth, including a blue sky, clouds and oceans. Eyeball world is an exoplanet which due to a tidal capture looks like an eyeball. One side of a planet is very hot and the other side is very cold. The huge difference of the temperature between two sides causes big storms on a planet (like in this video). This video is divided into 5 scenes: #1. Approaching an exoplanet with tidal capture. #2. Flying around eyeball world to get closer look. In the third scene #3. Descending all the way down to the mountain valley with lakes nearby. #4. Flying over mountains surrounded by ocean. Clouds is an addition to the scene. #5. Flight over a lake, then turning left between two big mountains passing through the clouds.
